Dear Wonderful Families,
In the blink of an eye, our first trimester of the school year has come to a close. As we reflect on all that we have accomplished in this term, we have many things to be grateful for...our wonderful
Teachers, Health and safety in our school supported by our Families who are following procedures to keep our community safe, and our amazing thriving students.
We recently sent out a survey to our students to get their feelings about school after this first trimester. We were blown away by the maturity of the responses and the incredibly positive comments about being happy here at school with each other. We will be sending home more information later…but wanted to share the words straight from your children, our students, about loving learning here. It is so heartwarming!
Also, we just did a positivity exercise with our staff who has been so surrounded by negativity and it truly brought us some joy. Think about one thing that has gone well for you over the last 8 months...and consider something that someone else has done well...and stay with those feelings for a moment. That is what you have to be thankful for this holiday. We are very lucky to have something like that in all of our lives and we should use that to adopt a gratitude attitude, even in the face of this awful pandemic!
We are very certain, here, that without your support and the awesome families that we have, we would never have been able to achieve all that we have over the past 8 months. You have helped us raise the bar for ourselves and we have risen to the challenge. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
We have been honored to share your holiday celebrations, big and small, throughout the years and we are hoping to make this years’ a little merrier by being together!
Kathy and Lisa for all of us
