Thanksgiving Food Drive November 13th – 17th
The Student Government is excited kickoff of its annual Food Drive, dedicated to supporting Grace Lutheran’s Food Pantry. Running from November 13th through November 17th, the initiative aims to bring the school community together for a common cause. This year, the Student Government extends a warm invitation to Early Childhood Education (ECE) students. The drop off point for donated pantry items will be in the Entrance Hall.
The highlight of this community project is the friendly competition introduced among grade levels. Both K-4 and Grades 5-8 are vying for the coveted title of the highest number of donated items, with the winning classes set to enjoy ice cream/popsicle parties. Individual students in Grades 4-8 who make noteworthy contributions will also be rewarded with a “no uniform day” on November 21st, adding an extra layer of excitement and encouragement for participation.
We take immense pride in our Student Government for spearheading this impactful initiative year after year. It not only reinforces the importance of giving back but also fosters a sense of unity and compassion among our students. The World Academy community looks forward to making a significant contribution to Grace Lutheran’s Food Pantry and creating lasting memories through this meaningful endeavor.
