John Stowell

Chief Financial Officer

John Stowell joined World Academy as Chief Financial Officer, last year, after a twenty-five plus year career in the medical device industry. He was born and raised in Massachusetts. He and his wife, Peggy, moved their family to Hollis, NH in 1997. He was a parent in our school community for several years, is currently playing an active role on our Advisory Board as Treasurer, in addition to now being a grandparent of a World Academy student.

John has extensive expertise in corporate finance, strategy, accounting and controls, mergers and acquisitions, tax management and information technology. Prior to World Academy, he served as the VP of Finance at Resonetics, a
contract medical device manufacturer, was CFO at Viaflo Corp, now Integra Biosciences and was CFO at Matrix Technologies Corp, now part of Thermo Fisher. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, a Bachelors in Business Management and is a Certified Public Accountant. We are grateful he is sharing his expertise with our “World!”
