Katie Russell

Director of Development, Communication, and Community Engagement

Katie Russell is a business and culture builder with expertise in business development, operations, training, communications, and innovation. With an MBA in Global Management and a BA in Political Science (International Relations), Katie has helped shape growth, engagement, and strategy for top national brands including Starbucks, T-Mobile USA, Bath & Body Works, CAVA, and American Eagle Outfitters.

Passionate about people and community, she thrives at the intersection of strategy and creativity—launching new concepts, developing teams, and building lasting connections.

Outside of her professional career, Katie is a lifelong soccer player, licensed US Soccer National D coach, and President of the Hudson United Soccer Club. She coaches U11 and U15 girls’ travel teams and joins World Academy’s middle school coaching staff this fall.

Based in Hudson, NH, she shares life’s adventures with her husband Sonny, their daughters Margaux (current Northstar) and Khione (World Academy alum), and their two Yorkies, Gracie and Murphy.
