Leyla Cico

Support Staff/Afterschool Program

Leyla Cico, originally from Turkey, discovered her passion for teaching after relocating to the United States and raising three children, two of whom attended World Academy.

She holds an accounting degree and returned to the workforce after 20 years of raising her family.

Leyla has been working at World Academy since 2023 as a substitute teacher and after school support staff member, working with kids in a variety of activities. It brings her great joy to be working with children and creating a nurturing environment for them to flourish!
