Sabrina Baiguy
Toddler Teacher
Sabrina has been at World Academy since 2023. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Spanish and a minor in Women Studies, but as soon as she stepped into a classroom in 2017, she knew she would be going through a career switch. Since then, Sabrina has taken courses in childcare through Rasmussen College, as well as getting my CPR and first aid certification.
Sabrina hasn’t always lived in the US. She was born and raised in Costa Rica and moved here when she was about 15. Sabrina has a brother and a sister, and she is the oldest one. She loves any vegan food and anything self-care. You can always find her either reading a book, out in the sun, on a walk/at the gym, or spending time with her friends and family.
Sabrina believes children are our future, and how we as adults show up for them during these years is critical for whom they become as they grow older. Her mission in any classroom is to create a safe space where children are able to explore their unique interests and curiosities as well as learning boundaries and routines. Sabrina likes to incorporate hands-on activities and allow children to be able to engage as a group as well as individually. Overall, singing songs, respect, being silly, and accountability will always be at the core of who Sabrina is as an educator.
