  • Associate Older Teacher

    World Academy is seeking a fun-loving, nurturing, and knowledgeable Associate Older Infant Teacher, 1:30pm-6:30pm. Candidate must possess the passion and experience to educate and care for children from 12 to 24 months, as well as provide strong connectivity between home and school in support of school community.     Ideal candidate must hold 9 credits in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education, including 3 credits in Child Growth and Development OR be in the process of obtaining credits, in which World Academy will be willing to help you achieve.

    • Full Time Infant Teacher

      World Academy's progressive Early Education team is looking for fun, energetic, and knowledgeable candidates to fill the Full Time Infant Teacher position, 9:00-6:00pm.

      Job Description:

      The individual in this position will work with co-teachers in managing classroom atmosphere, support developmentally appropriate classroom curriculum and maintain communication with fellow staff members and families. This position will allow the teacher to collaboratively work with staff and families to provide the very best in quality care and education during the early stages of social-emotional and cognitive development. This individual will facilitate developmentally appropriate curriculum to meet the needs of all babies, and assist in the reaching of developmental benchmarks in an environment conducive to learning through exploration. Candidates will be presented with multiple opportunities for professional growth.

      Requirements for the position:

      A minimum of 9 Credits in ECE, including Child Growth and Development are required. A passion for Early Childhood Education and a willingness to grow through provided opportunities. Knowledge of NAEYC standards and criteria is not a requirement, but is a plus!

      • Full-Time Substitute Teacher

        Begin your Career with World Academy!! Be a full time substitute in our accredited program for Infants through Grade 8 and learn what ages you truly enjoy and would like to work with in the classroom. Most of our staff have been substitutes first to work their way into our wonderful school as full time teachers. The variation each day keeps life interesting as you learn the ropes and find out about our great climate and culture. Must be available from 6:30 to 6pm to work an 8 hour day every day. Qualified candidates must have 9 credits in ECE or an Associate's Degree or more in Early Childhood or Elementary Education. Knowledge of NAEYC/NEASC criteria important.
