Amy Duprey is a full-time Substitute Teacher at World Academy. She will be supporting all students from Infant through Eighth Grade. Before working at World Academy, she was a full-time stay at home mom for sixteen years. Prior to having children, Amy was pursuing a degree in Elementary Education/Special Education at Rivier University. Amy has lots of experience working with children as a paraprofessional for many years in the Hollis, NH school district.
Amy has lived in Nashua, NH her whole life. She is married and has two sons, Ian and Owen. She also has two large dogs that complete her family. Amy enjoys spending time with her family, working in the yard, and cooking.
Amy believes that all children can succeed if given opportunity, resources, and a safe, positive learning environment. Amy also believes that having positive and open communication with families is important in having a child flourish at school and home. She likes to engage children with fun, hands-on learning. All students are unique and have different learning styles and she enjoys working with children and finding out what works best for each. Having the children be a part of setting rules and expectations in the classroom gives them a sense of shared community. Everyone in school benefits when it is made clear that all have a part in building a positive, safe and inclusive environment.
Amy Duprey joined the World Academy community in 2020.
