Becky Pfeifer has been teaching at World Academy since 2017. She is a graduate of Wheelock College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Becky is also qualified as a Lead Teacher for Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers as well as Director I and II through the Department of Early Education and Care.
Becky grew up in town of Groton, Massachusetts and now resides in Merrimack, New Hampshire with her husband, Eric, two children, Cody and Emma, and their dog, Oliver. Becky’s favorite past time is cheering on her children at the baseball/softball field or on the court as they participate in basketball. In her spare time she enjoys shopping, baking and photography. Any chance she gets, Becky loves to escape to the coast of Southern Maine with her family where they enjoy time at the beach and exploring the area.
Becky believes that all children should be taught with respect, kindness and compassion. She strives to have a personal and meaningful connection with each of the children in her care, to empower and affirm who they are as unique individuals. “It is my goal to foster a safe environment within the classroom that encourages children to become excited about learning, reading, asking questions, making mistakes and trying again!” She feels that the Whole Child Approach best helps her achieve these goals. Creating hands on learning opportunities and encouraging social interactions through play, provide a strong foundation for creativity to develop and for children to become lifelong learners.
Becky joined the World Academy community in 2017.
