Beverly Rose is joining the World Academy community this fall as our new Co-Principal. She is very eager to work with our student body, their families, and our teachers to achieve an environment where everyone feels valued. Mrs. Rose will work alongside the Administrative Leadership Team and Mrs. Kirk, who will be adding Development and Admissions to her Principal’s work focus.
A graduate of Western Governor’s University with a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, Beverly holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Western Washington University with a focus on Social Studies, and is certified as a Teacher and Principal through the New Hampshire Department of Education. She comes to us with several years of teaching and administrative experience in Utah.
Beverly grew up in a small community in eastern Washington state and moved to Utah twenty-one years ago when her husband, Tony, was relocated during his time in the Air Force. They visited New Hampshire and decided they wanted to begin their journey as empty nesters here. She enjoys backpacking, hiking, paddleboarding, and working in the yard and is looking forward to all the new sites to visit in New England!
Mrs. Rose values the gift of education, and understands not all students walk through the doors with the drive and determination to be academically successful. However, she believes all students have the ability to learn and understands the impact a teacher can have on a student when a trusting relationship is built. Students can achieve multitudes when they have the support of a teacher behind them to help them through their educational career. Keeping the home school bond is essential. Beverly is looking forward to creating strong connections and bonds at World Academy with both students and teachers alike. We are very lucky she will be sharing her vast talents with our ‘World!’
