Dorinda Mulcahy is a graduate of Plymouth State University holding a degree in Early Childhood Education with a Kindergarten through Third Grade NH Teacher Certification.
She grew up in Southern NH, where she resides today with her husband and two children. Dorinda enjoys music and plays the Alto Saxophone with the Hollis Town Band. She also loves to read, fish, hike, and take trips to the beach with her family.
While new to our World Academy family, Dorinda has spent the last 13 years working with children from Infants through Grade 6. She understands the importance of building strong and lasting relationships with families, as growth is constant and often beyond our school walls. She also puts a strong emphasis on classroom community and building an environment where all children feel welcome, safe, and inspired to learn. During her years as an educator she has truly solidified her belief in the importance of learning through play. When you add that to her love of teaching science, the curriculum becomes open ended, child driven, messy, and most importantly, fun. As an educator she hopes to foster a love of learning for children, as she strives to build a solid foundation for their future.
Dorinda joined the World Academy community in 2021.
