Erin resides in Nashua, NH with her husband, Michael and her son Owen. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, the beach, shopping, baking, and trying new recipes in the kitchen!

Erin’s philosophy of education is based on four main concepts: respect, honesty, the needs of students and fairness. She believes that everyone deserves respect. As a teacher she respects all of her students, their families and co-workers. In order to respect, one needs to be honest. She is honest with every situation she encounters. Every student has different needs and deserves to be educated in a way that meets his/her needs. She does this fairly and bases her classroom on fairness. As a teacher she never disrespects, belittles or dismisses the needs of her students. With this philosophy, Erin is able to make a difference in the lives of each of her students.

Erin feels that her philosophy of education reflects who she is. Teaching is not just her job, but it is a passion and responsibility that she takes very seriously. She believes that education is an important part of life, and that, without it, there is no way for our society to grow and improve for the generations to follow. As a teacher, Erin ensures that every child that enters her classroom is provided with the opportunity to learn in a variety of ways. School is a place for children to learn about life and gain basic skills, as well as, social skills needed to succeed in life. She touches upon all of these in her classroom and makes it fun, because she thinks learning should be fun. Overall she believes, teaching our children is an important part of life and should be done with the best quality, as well as, including love, compassion, respect and support.

Erin joined the World Academy community in 2001.
