Jennifer DerGarabedian

Jennifer DerGarabedian has been teaching at World Academy since 2016. She is a graduate of Harvard University with a degree in Liberal Arts and also holds a Masters Degree in Elementary/Early Childhood Education from Antioch University New England. Jenn maintains Kindergarten through Sixth Grade New Hampshire Teacher Certification and is also a certified dance instructor with over fifteen years of experience teaching various forms of dance.  She is currently the Membership Chair for the Dance Teachers’ Club of Boston.

Mrs. DerGarabedian resides in Nashua, with her husband, two children, two dogs, and one cat. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and attending concerts, theatre and dance performances.

Jenn believes that educators should view their students from a holistic perspective. To do this, teachers must truly know their students which requires keen observation and understanding of student interest, developmental trajectory, and learning styles to create a curriculum that provides each student with a meaningful educational experience and provides access points for all learners. She loves getting to know her students and strives to provide them with engaging meaningful educational experiences.
