Jennifer “Jenn” Der Garabedian
Middle School Teacher
Jennifer DerGarabedian has been teaching at World Academy for two years. She is a graduate of Harvard University with a degree in Liberal Arts and is also a graduate of Antioch University New England with a Masters Degree in Elementary/Early Childhood Education. Jenn holds a Kindergarten through Sixth Grade New Hampshire Teacher Certification. Mrs. D. is also a certified dance instructor, with over fifteen years of experience teaching various forms of dance and is currently the Membership Chair for the Dance Teachers Club of Boston.
Mrs. DerGarabedian resides in Nashua, with her husband, two children, two dogs, and two cats. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets. Jenn also enjoys attending concerts, theatre and dance performances.
Mrs. DerGarabedian believes that educators should view their students from a holistic perspective. To do this, teachers must truly know their students which requires keen observation and understanding of student interest, developmental trajectory, and learning styles to create curriculum that provides each student with a meaningful educational experience and provides access points for all learners. Jenn loves getting to know her students and strives to provide them with an engaging meaningful educational experiences.
