Kelli Sawyer recently joined our World Academy team as a Fourth Grade Math and Science teacher. She graduated from Southern New Hampshire University in 2011 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Education and holds her New Hampshire teaching certification for K-8. Kelli joins our community with a wide range of teaching experience. She has taught in Arizona and Nevada along with teaching overseas in South Korea and Kuwait.
Ms. Sawyer grew up in southern New Hampshire and currently resides in Goffstown with her cat, Tom. When she is not at school or globetrotting, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to concerts, and reading. Her favorite place in the world is London.
Kelli believes that teaching is more of a science than an art, and that we learn from our experiences and try to replicate them. However, everyone is their own individual person, and Kelli celebrates this. Each person comes from different backgrounds and experiences to build a unique persona. In her classroom, Ms. Sawyer considers every individual to be a student, a teacher, and a thinker. She learns from her students just as much as they learn from her. She believes that we never stop learning and that together we can all grow and further our experiences, which will then build a very successful classroom community.
