Kristina Kidder recently joined our World Academy teaching team. She is a graduate of Rivier University with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. Kristina holds a Kindergarten through Eighth Grade NH Teacher Certification.
Mrs. Kidder grew up in Lowell, MA during her elementary years and moved to Pepperell, MA when she was in high school while she attended Lowell Catholic High School. Currently she resides in Londonderry, NH with her husband, Andrew, her two children, 2 dogs, and 3 cats. Kristina enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, and watching her children grow.
Ever since Kristina started teaching at the Elementary school level, she has been passionate in her commitment to two things: maximizing individual student performance and instilling a sense of self-worth among all students. She has a strong passion to educate young minds and help them blossom into well-rounded, responsible, and successful individuals. Throughout the course of her education at Rivier College and the 7 years of teaching experience, she has had the opportunity to observe and teach diverse groups of students, including those with learning disabilities, dyslexia, autism, and attention deficit disorder. As a result, she has been committed to designing creative and stimulating lesson plans, which accommodate multiple intelligences, bring a hands-on approach to learning, and keep students engaged and focused. Kristina’s lessons are planned to meet her students’ diverse interests, as well as demonstrate direct connections between the classroom and everyday life.
