Lindsey Parisi has been teaching at World Academy since 2018. She is a graduate of the University of New England with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Literature and she holds a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Curriculum and Instruction from Merrimack College. She has her Master Teacher level 3 Credential from the State of New Hampshire.
She was born in Newton, NH, and grew up in Andover, MA with her mom, brother and grandparents. In October of 2017, she moved to Derry, NH with her husband, Ryan, and she enjoys going on hikes with him and their Corgi, Graciemae. She also enjoys hanging out with their rabbit, Finnegan; cat, Nige; doing DIY projects; and spending time with her family and friends. She believes in "fostering a child’s ability to take in and explore his/her environment in a way that is comforting and nurturing. By creating an atmosphere that feels safe for the child, he/she can freely explore and try new things. Children should know their teacher will be there for them as a support when they need it.” She feels that the children she cares for succeed the most when she takes an interest in their interests. By taking the time to truly understand who each of her children are, she is then able to create her lessons and curriculum so that each child can make a connection that is personally meaningful. She feels a teacher’s strongest tool is knowledge of her students, thereby, offering her limitless opportunities as to where she can lead her students during their educational journeys."
Lindsey joined the World Academy community in 2018.
