Mariah Blatz

Infant Teacher

Mariah Blatz is a graduate from UMass Amherst with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders as well as minors in Education and Psychology. She will be working on her advanced degree in Education while she is here with us!

Mariah is from Attleboro, MA and now lives in Merrimack, NH to be closer to friends and family. She enjoys traveling, especially in the winters when she and her family ski a new mountain every year. She also enjoys listening to the relaxing sounds of nature, knitting blankets, working on her family recipe cookbook and taking her two dogs for hikes.

In the classroom Mariah believes a child’s natural curiosities should be observed and integrated into the curriculum in order to engage each child, personally, in the fun learning environment. Discovering what the children are genuinely interested in is important to make it a relevant and enrich their experiences. “As an educator, I wish to make sure that all of my children are treated as individuals and have a safe, consistent environment where they can really enjoy all that is offered to them.” Mariah loves seeing the progression and transformation that each child makes through their natural drive to learn as they spend time with her.
