Rhyan Lawrence recently joined the World Academy Team in the Winter of 2019. She is continuing her coursework in ECE, as well as working towards obtaining a lead teacher certification.
Rhyan grew up in Northern California and moved here with her family to be able to enjoy all four seasons and the amenities that New England is known for (like Clam Chowder!). She currently lives in Nashua, New Hampshire and enjoys spending time with her two daughters at the beach, snowboarding, eating pizza and reading books.
“As a teacher (and overall human being), upholding compassion for others is one of my core values. I strongly believe in embracing the individual child and their abilities to create a curriculum that works for each. I also strive to encourage students to have compassion for one another by teaching them to listen to and value each other on a social and emotional level, in and outside of the classroom. I strive each day to encourage students to love learning and truly engage themselves in the pursuit of knowledge and success. I have professional experience working with youths from ages 2 years to 22 years of age in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for the past nine years.”
