Sagrario “Sara” Quintero
Sagrario (Sara) Quintero joined World Academy in 2017. She graduated in May 2017 from Nashua Community College with a Liberal Arts Associate's Degree, with a concentration in Early Childhood Education courses.
Sara is married and has two children: Kiana, who also works at World Academy as an Afternoon Assistant Teacher, and Christopher. She enjoy reading, cooking, and going to the movies, but her favorite pastime is enjoying the company of her family. Sara has always had a passion for working with children and their families and loves being a part of the World Academy community!
Sara believes a teacher represents person of great importance in a child’s life. Aside from parents and family, (which are the child’s first teachers) a teacher becomes the next person in line that will form a very special bond with that child. As a teacher, she believes it is her responsibility to make sure it is a fulfilling relationship that comes loaded with love, compassion, and new opportunities to learn. The atmosphere presented to that child must be one that encourages learning and in which a child feels safe. It must be an environment where every child feels listened to and cared for. Sara believe that a child who feels important and valued will succeed in anything they encounter in life. A child should feel challenged and fulfilled with his/her everyday experiences at school and not be afraid to be his/her true self.
