My name is Sara Davis. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Rivier University, and I have been working professionally in the Early Childhood Education field since 2003. Prior to World Academy, I have experience working with children in various settings, including childcare centers, public schools, in-home services, and most recently as an ABA therapist working with children with Autism.
My family and I bought our first home in Nashua in 2018. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, reading, and riding my Harley in the great weather. A bucket list goal for me is to ride cross-country on my bike!
As a teacher, I believe children need structure and organization, while simultaneously being allowed to explore, make mistakes through trial and error, and express themselves in a safe environment to encourage growth and individuality.
I also believe children can teach us just as much as we teach them. Adults can forget to look at things through a child’s eye, which I believe can offer a new fresh perspective.
One of my favorite quotes about teaching is, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” No two children are the same, so I want to encourage my students to be who they are and to teach them the way they learn. This is the part of the teaching journey I truly enjoy- seeing each child succeed in their most achievable way possible!
Sara joined the World Academy community in 2020.
