Stephanie has been at World Academy since January 2020. She has credits in child growth and development and is currently working on her CDA credential. Stephanie recently moved to Nashua from Massachusetts. She enjoys hiking, exploring nature and going for bike rides. She enjoys music and plays classical piano. She likes being involved in the community and has volunteered for horizons for homeless children and tutored ESL language learners for three years.
Stephanie believes children learn through play, hands on experiences, and safe and nurturing environments. Her role as a caregiver is to provide safety, structure and enriching experiences for children to grow. She believes children need many different experiences and learning opportunities. As a teacher, she strives to find how each child learns best and what each of their strengths are. Other important aspects are creating a sense of community, responsibility, belonging and love. Only in a loving and safe environment can children grow to their true potential.
