"As an educator, I understand that the foundations of any skill begin in early childhood. Children have a natural passion for learning, and it is important to encourage and support their innate curiosity so that they will be lifelong learners, unafraid to explore, take risks, and try new things. Children learn best and willingly engage in educational activities when they feel supported and valued and are treated as respected members of their classroom. It is my goal to foster a caring classroom community, where children feel comfortable exploring and creating and sharing their ideas in a positive learning environment. Family plays a vital role in the success of every child, so I believe that families and teachers should be a team. Families will always be welcome participants in their child’s education and they will be provided with consistent updates and communications. Finally, I believe children learn best by doing, so I will provide many hands-on activities, where children can be fully engaged in educational play opportunities, as well as teacher guided activities, so that they can really have fun while they are learning."
