Tri-County Division 2 Basketball Champions!

Both World Academy NorthStars Basketball Teams captured the Tri-County Division 2 Championships last weekend at Gordon B. Hood School, capping off an exciting season and playoff run. The Girls’ and Boys’ teams each brought home titles on Saturday, showcasing determination, teamwork, and resilience. The girls battled through foul trouble and fought to the final moments to secure their win, finishing an extraordinary undefeated season at 15–0 in league play and 23–0 overall. The boys delivered an equally impressive performance, defeating Timberlane Regional High School by 25 points in the championship game after a tough regular-season loss, proving their growth and confidence when it mattered most!

Our coaches have praised their athletes’ dedication, sportsmanship, and development throughout the season, and wanted to emphasize how proud they are of the players’ commitment to improvement, teamwork, and perseverance!
