Toddler Teacher
Kaitlyn Falkner started at World Academy in 2026. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She has plans to get her New Hampshire Teacher Certification in the near future and is excited to be in the classroom with your children.
Kaitlyn grew up just down the road in Dunstable, MA. After graduating high school, she moved to York, ME, where she returned after college to begin her teaching career. In her free time, Kaitlyn enjoys visiting family in Maine, walking her dog, Ziggy, and reading. She also enjoys spending as much time as she can with her two nephews who she loves dearly.
Kaitlyn believes that play has an essential and powerful part in learning. Through play, children explore their world, develop problem-solving skills, build creativity, practice social interactions, and gain confidence in themselves. She also believes that strong relationships are the foundation of effective teaching. Building trust with each child is one of her highest priorities, and having every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and respected. By taking the time to listen, understand their interests, and respond to their individual needs, she strongly believes that this helps to create a supportive environment for each child to thrive. By combining the power of play with trusting relationships, she aims to support each child to reach their full potential.
