Alicia Hamilton
Preschool Fours Teacher
Alicia Hamilton joined World Academy in 2026 as a Preschool 4s teacher. She is currently majoring in Elementary Education at the University of New Hampshire. Before joining World Academy, Alicia spent five years working in a full-day kindergarten classroom in a public school, where she gained valuable experience supporting young learners and helping them grow both academically and socially.
Outside of the classroom, Alicia enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and boyfriend. She loves traveling and exploring new places whenever she can. At home, she has a 6-year-old Boxer dog named Roxy and a 2-year-old Russian Blue cat named Gizmo, who keep life fun and entertaining. Alicia is also a huge fan of the Boston Bruins and New England Patriots, and she enjoys listening to country music and attending concerts.
As an educator, Alicia believes that every child learns best in a safe, caring, and engaging environment where they feel valued and encouraged to be themselves. While building strong academic skills is important, she also believes that play-based learning is essential, especially for young learners. Her philosophy is that through hands-on activities, exploration, and meaningful experiences, children develop confidence, creativity, problem-solving skills, and a lifelong love of learning. Her goal is to help each child grow academically, socially, and emotionally while making learning fun every day.
