Happy Last Day Of School!

Dear Wonderful World Academy Families,

On this last day of our 2021-2022 school year we want to reflect upon the joys and learning that has happened for us all this year. We accomplished so very much here as you look at our sports championships, academic successes and all around student achievements. But most important in our minds and hearts this year has been the overall mental and emotional wellness that our students have exhibited. It is no surprise that due to covid and the craziness of the world we live in, young people have shown signs of hopelessness, lethargy, and a nihilistic attitude that has left so many of us educators, parents and child advocates despairing for our children. Working together with our families has helped our children develop appropriately, test boundaries and learn from their mistakes. Our joy has helped them temper the awful things going on in the world around them and your love has grounded them to help them work out concepts in appropriate ways. As a team we have let them be children and young adults without the traumas of the world inhibiting their growth. That is what we are most grateful for this year and always. Thank you to our fabulous families for being our partners in the education and nurturing of your children.
