Join The Mayor’s Winter Reading Challenge!
From January 3rd to February 28th, the Mayor of Nashua, Jim Donchess is holding a Winter Reading Challenge!
The purpose of the Mayor’s Winter Reading Challenge is to encourage Nashua residents to read year-round. The Mayor has set a reading goal of 550,000 minutes for the city, and participants will log the minutes they spend reading to work towards that goal. Participants can also earn activity badges.
Many of these badges are inspired by the Nashua Nine, and encourage participants to read outside of their comfort zone. At the end of the challenge, the mayor will host a celebration at the library to recognize readers. Join them! Click here to join the challenge! There are separate categories for Birth-Preschool, Kids (Grades K-5), and Teens (Grades 6-12)!
