Weekly Update From World Academy – April 23, 2021

Dear Wonderful Families,

We want to thank you all for supporting our Week of the Young Child events with your participation, sponsorship and through the PTO. It was a spectacular week that ended on just the right note on Monday of this week with our fabulous Walk-a-thon. The weather was beautiful (unlike Friday’s snowstorm!!); our DJ, Carryl Roy, set the tone of fun and joy; while bubbles and dancing were the order of the day. Lots of smiles and excitement are reflected below in the many pictures taken during the event.

Special thanks to Brooke Shaw and her Week of the Young Child Committee: Erin Seguin, Lisa Subisak, Kelsey Spaulding, Jess Labbe, Patrice Zaryckyj and Marissa DiMartino for their hard work and attention to detail, and to the PTO for the incredible Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, terrific Bingo on Tuesday night and the energy, support during the Walk, itself.

While we all are still very careful to follow health and safety protocols, we hope those who are on vacation next week have a great and SAFE Spring Vacation. We will be expecting those who are traveling on public transportation or who will be spending time in crowds to return to school after a negative PCR test. Thank you for supporting our community by following those guidelines. For all of us here at school, we will be having a BLAST during our Vacation and ECE Programs!!!
