Weekly Update From World Academy – April 9, 2021

Dear Wonderful Families,

We look forward to celebrating all of your wonderful children and their teachers during our Week of the Young Child Celebration next week. All of the details for the week of events were sent out on Wednesday by Brooke Shaw. Details are also included in this newsletter for your convenience.

It is such a pleasure to be highlighting a positive occasion in the lives of our children and the Week of the Young Child is certainly that. It is celebrated nationally and has been for over 50 years. Here, we embrace the value of our children; you, our families; and the teachers who give our students wings during this special week. The importance of early childhood education and early learning simply cannot be emphasized enough. Your help in celebrating it all is what will make it exceptionally special. Please help us recognize our school and wonderful teachers by filling out our ‘Brag Sheets’ with a special note to let your children’s teacher know how much you appreciate them. Also, your participation in showing us your World Academy support will keep us all raising the bar of quality. Many thanks, in advance, for your involvement in this very important week. During the pandemic our school and teachers showed great educational agility “edgility” and continued to serve our families and children unfettered and safely. That is truly something to celebrate. Thanks for your help at this special time!
