Weekly Update From World Academy – May 14, 2021

Dear Wonderful Families,

As all of us know we have had very little ability to socialize or fundraise this school year. It has been such a stifling thing for us all. Our Scholarship Fund has taken a direct hit without our Comedy Show to finance it and we are trying to make up some of those funds. One of the non-profit Alumni Association’s events still left to do is our Silent Auction which used to accompany the Comedy Show. We are hoping to recoup the $3500.00 that we have committed to 4 bright World Academy Alumni who are going on to prestigious colleges and remarkable futures.

At this point, we are asking for anything unique to pique families’ interest as donation items. We will be grateful to receive anything that you yourself would value so we can capitalize on this event. We thank you, in advance, for supporting the quality of students that will sit in the chair next to your child and those graduates who are high achievers to realize their college dreams through this Auction. Also, we hope you will be moved to bid on some exciting items when we open on May 24th.
