Kathleen Nelson
Born and raised in Washington, DC, Kathy Nelson graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Education. She completed her Graduate work at Wheelock College, Rivier University and Southern New Hampshire University. She is the Founder and School President of World Academy and has been advocating for quality and affordable child care and education since 1975. She is also a member of both City and State Child Care Advocacy groups and has received many awards and professional recognition for her ongoing community work and program management.

Dr. Lisa Dias
Dr. Lisa Dias has been the Head of School at World Academy since the Fall of 2017. She holds a Doctorate in Education, Leadership and Learning from Rivier University and a Masters degree in Education from PSU.

Marie Kirk
Marie Kirk is our School Principal. On our staff since 1992, Marie earned a BA in Human Development/ Special Ed from Rivier University and she continues to expand her knowledge exponentially over the years. Marie excels at so many things it is hard to list them all here. She is our tech guru; is a current member of the Leadership Greater Nashua Class of 2017, a very prestigious position in the City and she holds Highly Qualified Teachers status in addition to her NH Teacher Certification!
