Brianna has been teaching at World Academy since 2014. Since this time, she has taught Second Grade and Fifth Grade Math/English Language Arts. She is a graduate from Western New England College in Springfield, Massachusetts and continued her education at the University of Alaska/Southeast where she earned her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. Brianna holds New Hampshire State teaching certification.

Mrs. Chiccarelli was born and raised in a small town in Connecticut and now lives in Massachusetts with her husband, Nick, and daughters, Ella and Logan who attend World Academy. Bri loves spending time with her family, reading, and quilting. One of her favorite hobbies is geocaching and exploring new places.

Brianna believes “that every child can and will learn if they
are motivated by excited and knowledgeable teachers. Learning should be inquiry-based. Students are excited to
learn when the curriculum is invigorating, and the teacher is well prepared and fully invested in the learning process of his/her students. Good communication is essential to the formation of a strong class and to form a strong learning community that is not afraid to take risks, ask questions, and fully participate in learning activities.”
