Christina Martin

Middle School Teaching Support, Coach, and AfterSchool Teacher

Christina Martin has been at World Academy since 2022 as a teaching support staff member, cross country coach, and a valued member of our AfterSchool Team. This year she will be expanding her role to include both STEM and some Health and Physical Education instruction. She is a graduate of Keene State College with a degree in STEM and Art Education.

Christina grew up in Avon, Connecticut with her twin sisters, mother, and father. She ran cross country, indoor and outdoor track throughout high school and in college. Now she runs road races which include 5ks, half marathons, and marathons.

Christina believes “that STEM education is critical to the future of our world. It encourages curiosity and innovation, and it helps young kids develop problem-solving skills. By learning about science, technology, engineering and math– kids can explore new ideas and create new things.
