Emergent Preschool Fours Teacher

Erin King has been teaching at World Academy since 2010. She received her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at Nashua Community College and has her Early Childhood Professional Development Specialist Credential with the endorsement of Mentor.

Erin grew up in and lives in Litchfield, NH with her three cats, Weston, Braxton, and Annie. She loves spending time outdoors and being surrounded by friends and family. You can usually find her on her family boat in Newburyport in the summer months. Her favorite season is fall, and she loves to do everything related to the season.

Erin believes that each child is a unique individual who develops at his/her own pace. “We should strive to provide culturally, linguistically, and developmentally appropriate practices that focus on the process of learning and helping children enjoy successful experiences. I believe that a stable, safe, comfortable, and culturally relevant environment is crucial to a child’s physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and creative growth.”
