Holly Williams

Elementary PE and Health & Wellness Teacher, Assistant Coach

Holly is thrilled to step into the role as the Elementary Physical Education/Health & Wellness Teacher and Assistant Coach this school year.She has been teaching at World Academy for the past four years and is excited to bring her passion for health, wellness, and athletics to this role.

Ms. Williams holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Care and Management and has extensive experience supporting youth, from infancy to tenth grade. Her background includes youth counseling and holistic well-being, where she has helped children to develop emotionally, socially, and physically. Ms. Williams has coached youth soccer and assisted with a variety of sports camps, where she helped youth athletes develop fundamental skills such as confidence, teamwork, and a love for physical activity. These experiences have strengthened her ability to motivate students of all skill levels while creating a positive and engaging athletic experience that emphasizes sportsmanship, perseverance, and personal growth.

As a former captain of her soccer team, Holly has developed strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills that continue to guide her teaching and coaching philosophy. Leading her teammates taught her the importance of encouragement, accountability and fostering positive team culture qualities. She continues to stay active by playing both soccer and competitive rugby, allowing her to model lifelong fitness and commitment to healthy living. 

Outside of school, Holly enjoys spending time with her six-year-old son, Kaimai (“Kai”), and loves going on adventures with him. Together, they enjoy exploring new places, staying active, and making lasting memories.

Ms. Williams’ teaching philosophy centers on the powerful connection between social-emotional wellness and physical movement. She believes that every child deserves the opportunity to build confidence, resilience, healthy habits, and a lifelong appreciation for wellness. Through movement, teamwork, and positive relationships, she strives to inspire students to become their healthiest, happiest, and most confident selves both inside and outside the classroom.
