Jacob Lavoie

IT Specialist

Jacob Lavoie joined World Academy in 2026 as the school’s IT Specialist. He holds the CompTIA Network+ certification. Jacob continued his professional development as a Network Specialist at Brown University, with a focus on computer networking, systems administration, and information technology.

Originally from Massachusetts, Jacob recently relocated to New Hampshire. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hiking, biking, kayaking, and camping, and is looking forward to exploring more of what New Hampshire has to offer.

Jacob believes technology should be reliable, approachable, and enhance education without getting in the way of learning. As World Academy’s IT Specialist, he enjoys solving problems, improving technology systems, and helping staff and students get the most out of the technology available to them. His goal is to provide a dependable technology environment where teachers and students can focus on learning while knowing support is available when they need it.
