Kim Rusko

Preschool Fours Teacher

Kim Rusko has been teaching at World Academy since 1991. She is a graduate of St. Joseph’s College in Windham, ME with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. Kim also holds a Child Development Associate credential and is First Aid/CPR certified.  She started working at World Academy when it was Small World and worked with different age groups before finding her niche in the Preschool 4’s program.

Kim is a Nashua native and lives with her husband, Dave.  Their daughter, Kristen, lives in Burlington, VT.. Kim enjoys being active, reading and spending time with family and friends. 

Kim believes that children learn best through exploring with hands-on experiences. Through observation and communication with families, she supports children’s strengths and encourages them as they reach developmental milestones. Kim works hard to provide a classroom that is welcoming and inviting with many enriching activities in a friendly and warm environment. “I want a child’s first experience in the classroom to be a positive one that carries over in his/her future education.”
