Sylvia Nassy

Business Manager

Sylvia Nassy joined World Academy as Business Manager in 2026, bringing more than 15 years of experience in finance, accounting, business administration, and operations management across both nonprofit and private-sector organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baruch College.

Outside of work, Sylvia enjoys giving back to her community through volunteer service. She is married to her high school sweetheart, has two daughters in college and two Yorkies (Lola & Brooke), and enjoys working out, watching her daughters compete in college sports, hiking, and baking.

Sylvia believes that strong schools are built on thoughtful planning, sound financial stewardship, and a commitment to serving others. She enjoys working behind the scenes to create efficient systems that allow faculty and staff to focus on what matters most- supporting students and families. Sylvia is excited to be part of the World Academy community, and she looks forward to contributing to the school’s continued growth while helping provide an exceptional experience for every student, family, and staff member.
