The New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) provides accreditation services for more than 2000 public and private institutions in the six state region - Pre-K through University. Emanating from high quality standards, NEASC accreditation uses self-reflection, peer review and best practices as integral components of its assessment process and monitors the follow-up endeavors leading to continuous school/program improvement. Northwest Evaluation Association
It is exciting to announce that moving forward we will be switching to the Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA) Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) testing. This computer based assessment adapts to the student in real-time as the test progresses for a pinpoint picture of learning achievement. This formative assessment will allow us to better measure student progress over the course of the year and provide targeted instruction along the way. World Academy uses the Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA) Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) testing. The results of the NWEA help the administration and teachers make decisions regarding class placements and curricula. On average, our students are consistently outperforming the national norms by at least 1-2 years
